Jack joined General Electric Company in March, 2006 responsible for IP policy and related IP matters. Jack was an Assistant General Counsel for Johnson & Johnson, who came to Shanghai in January 1998 to set up the Asia Pacific Regional Law Office of the Corporate Law Dept. of Johnson & Johnson and the Intellectual Property Protection Office of the Johnson & Johnson companies in China.
Jack serves as a guest researcher for the IP Institute of Peking University and East China University of Political Science & Law. Jack is also a pro bono IP Advisor to the IP Administration of Shanghai City Government since 2007.
Jack was reported by the China Customs Magazine in 2006 as one of the ten economic figures making contribution to China’s economic development. Jack was recognized by the Managing IP, a world known IP publication based in London, as one of the 50 most influential IP persons in the world in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012. On January 10, 2013, Jack was recognized by the China IP Magazine and the IP Channel of China Daily as one of the 3 most influential IP persons in China in 2012.
